 Physical space at The University of Southern Mississippi is a valuable institutional resource that must be managed carefully and used efficiently. Each campus has a recommending body responsible for the oversight of space utilization and allocation. Requests for and notification of all vacated space, new space, and changes in use of space are submitted to SUAC and reviewed in accordance with the SUAC policies and procedures. All recommendations are forwarded to the President and the Executive Cabinet for final approval or further review. Once a decision has been made by the President and the Executive Cabinet, the Chair of the SUAC will inform the respective administrative unit head of the decision, and also inform all other requesting or affected areas.

Space requests should be routed through the appropriate administrative structure prior to review by the SUAC. All requests must be submitted on the SUAC Space Request Form.

 

Please fill out the request form, obtain all essential Request Authorization Signatures and send it by mail or electronically to Cynthia.Easterling@usm.edu.
